Larry and the lads in Fays were all very happy with Monday nights darts challenge. We had all types of darts at it, from exhibition to nailbiting.
Gerry Rice was at it again with a savage display of scoring against Dublin man Eamon Higgens(who played very well himself). Carl Thomas came back to his old form and produced a nailbiter with Peter Hickey, it was nip and tuc in the 2 legs with Thomas taking the victory(and game of the night).
Derek Hernon succomed to an inform Mick Hughs and Alan Reenan suffered the same fate (missed doubles) to Nicky Walters.
Conor Mcardle produced the goodies and took out the boss man himself , Larry Fay.
Joe Finnegan, Mickey Kelly, John Donnelly and Owen Caffrey all proved there worth for the county by winning there games and the result came in at 7--2. Committee man and tournament organiser Ray Makenna came along as per usuall(thanks Ray) and made sure the proceedings went well and there were also a couple of supporters.
The crack in the pub was good all nigh and Larry said he would have us back anytime.
Louth darts would like to thank Fays for their support in fundraising and we look forward to doing it again in the future
